It's Blog Hop Time for Riley and Company!

Yeah it is Moose Madness time!
Come make the rounds of our Design Team members'
blogs, leave a comment as you go and you just might
win the unmounted stamp of your choice from
the new releases!

So first let's get our bearings....
You should have arrived here from Patti's Blog.

To start at the very beginning go here:
http://rileyandco.blogspot.com/2010/03/blog-hop-for-moose-madness.html

Now for the fun part!

PRESENTING TV RILEY!   (buy it here!)

When I saw this stamp I knew it was so me
and my family. We just love to watch tv.

First up - this card was inspired by this last weekend.
Do you know how hard it is to be a KState grad
married to the biggest KU Basketball fan?
Solution - His and Hers TVs!

Paper used is the MVP collection by
We R Memory Keepers.
Embossed with Bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder.
Basketball brads from Hobby Lobby.
Saying was computer generated.
All coloring was done with Copic markers.

Okay this next one is just silly!
Things can get totally crazy sometimes at
Riley and Company Headquarters
(aka Stamper's Ink.)

Well what can you expect from a place
with so many moose on the loose?
The conversation was what Riley stamps could
represent a tv show?  It got too hilarious!
So this idea was born.  A wheel card
that the tv shows change on.

The story so far:
Riley sat down to watch tv one evening.
"Hum let's see what is on."
-Click-

"The Riley and Company Ballet .... oh no quick
change channels before Sophie comes in."
-flip-

"CSI : Riley City.... oh darn it's a
rerun."
-flip-

"Oh yeah this is more like it... a new episode
of The Vampire Riley Diaries!"

Giggle! That Vampire Riley in the tv just did me
in when I made this wheel card.
Riley just had to pick that show.
The other Riley stamps are Ballet Sophie and
Detective Riley.
Diecuts are all from the Mickey and Friends
Cricut cartridge. Saying was computer
generated.

The print paper is Bo Bunny Dots. The cardstock
Black Magic Coredinations - I used both sides.
All coloring done with Copic markers.

Yes it is a big card 6" x 8" and I still could
only fit three images on the wheel.

Leave me a comment on what tv show you would have
a Riley stamp depict! All comments will be entered in
the drawing.

Now hop on over to Dana's Blog.

Come back tomorrow for the last of my new release
projects.

Whew!
Therese

Therese you just kill me with how creative you are! I too could have used that House Divided card last week. But mine is one son likes KU the other likes KState and Hubby and I are Huskers. Love the wheel card idea. This would make a great Let's go camping card or occupational card for a recent high-school/college grad. Thanks for sharing!

Oh my gosh, the his and hers TVs and Riley programs are too cute! So clever and creative!

Hmm... some more programs based on Riley images. How about the Bbq Riley having a show on the Food Network channel called Barbecuing with Riley?

Or using the Campfire Riley to do a take on the show Survivorman, called Survivormoose, demonstrating how to survive in the wild with no supplies, other than marshmallows of course!

Or the Painter Riley could have a show called Riley's Joy Of Painting, a take on Bob Ross's Joy Of Painting program.

Or the old Hee Haw show could be brought back, featuring Wheat Riley and Farmers Riley & Sophie!

Gosh, I could go on and on with my silly suggestions... LOL!

Lissa said...

Forgot to post my TV show... ;) I would have a cooking show or "Shear Genius"... LOL Could you imagine Riley or Sophie with some whacked out hairdo??? LOL!

Therese, you are so creative! You could have basketball Riley on TV with March Madness. I'm sure that's the channel that Riley would choose to watch!

BTW I haven't seen you in ages. When are you in the store?

And the t.v one? Oh My Gosh! How smart is that? For me it's a toss up between the CSI: Riley city and Vampire Riley diaries....though I might be leaning more towards Vampire Riley diaries!!
