First up Zip Line Riley crossing the Grand Canyon! LOL!

Next glamorous Showgirl Sophie. Ahh she was so much
fun to glam up with gold glitter, crystal Stickles and feathers.

Both of these cards use cuts from the Cricut Destinations Cartridge.

Who could resist trying to find a suitcase for the Travel Stickers Set?
I found a wood box that I covered with paper and edged with Tim
Holtz tissue tape (one of my new loves!)

These stamps with their tiny vignettes are just adorable.
Aaawww ...Riley has a kangaroo friend!
Last but not least - my current obsession the
Cricut Word Collages Cartridge.

Yes I did two because I could not choose which activities I liked the best.

Under the Sea

Vacation Warrior

I'm Late I'm Late....

for a very important date!  The Riley Sneek Peeks!

I am sorry I have been missing in action.  It has
been a wicked month at my house.  In the midst
of it all my computer decided it would join the
in the fun and games and quit.  Ugh!

So I am busy getting everything back together.
I plan on posting several projects Thursday
night.

In the meantime want a peek of something
super fun?  I am stealing a pic from Tanya
just to show you this.

I have been doing Cricut Club projects
for a class at Tanya's store Stamper's Ink.
Here is the August Class project.

This is the new Cricut Word Collage Cart with
our favorite Moose Riley!

I loved how these word collages matched up with
Riley so much that you just might see another one...
hint hint....
So stay tuned and I hope to show you some Riley
meets the Bug projects (the Cricut Bug that is.)

(If you missed the beginning it starts here.)

THE END!

I had a bit of an issue as I finished this up today.
If you remember from this last fall I have this bossy muse
that shows up and insists on being in everything.
Well he showed up again.... and yes he insisted on being
in the book.  See if you can spot him.  HINT - his initials
are VR.

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy story writing with this
wonderful set of stamps.
You can find the whole collection for sale right here.

Remember ... Life is a circus don't "moose" a minute of it!

Next stop is Michele!

Riley Goes to the Circus Part 1

Sorry I have been absent!
You see I had this marvelous idea to do one big project
this release instead of all the small sneak peeks.
Well as I have been working along
I realized there is no way this is fitting in one post
Thursday night. So here goes....

Riley and Company stamps are such smile bringers.
Each Riley or Sophie image brings a slice of life
to mind or takes you on a whimsical adventure.
As your collection builds
you start realizing the story they tell.

As I looked at the previews the Design Team got this
month, Riley Goes to The Circus, a story for kids of all ages
was born. LOL!
What I hope you take away from this is not my kooky
story writing but the idea that you can tell stories with Riley stamps.
Better yet have a fun afternoon stamping with your kids or grand kids.

Craft together. Let your imaginations soar.

Be sure and tell us what Riley and Sophie adventures
you come up with.  Just email a pic to the
Riley and Company email address at the bottom of
the page here.
We would love to feature it on the blog!

Riley Goes to the Circus:

Part 2 tomorrow!  Be sure and visit
all the other Design Team members for
more ideas!

A few design notes -

This month you will see a new stamp collection.
The little accessories! Oh how I love these.
See if you can spot them in my project.

I also have found Riley and Cricut go together very well.
I used the Cricut Lite Carousel cartridge
for the background items  in my book.

An 8" by 8"' scrapbook makes the perfect storybook.

An April Challenge for the Riley and Co. Design Team

Yes it is challenge time for the Riley and Co. Design Team!
I got to pick too!  Yeah!
So my challenge is "It's all about Sophie!"

Just make a card with Sophie or do what I love to do...
turn Riley into Sophie.  LOL!  So time to get girly!
Post your ideas at Splitcoast Stampers with the keyword
0711.

Here is mine.

I know this is Sunflower Riley but....
Who says that happy flower can't be a fun blue flower
and Riley can't be Sophie?
The Bloom wording and the flowers were made with
the April Showers seasonal Cricut Cartridge.
I added a bit of shine to the flowers with
Glossy Accents.
The papers are by K &Co.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and visit
the other Design Team members!

Welcome to the Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Riley Blog Hop!

Be sure you started at the beginning
which is here:
 http://www.rileyandco.blogspot.com/

I am the last stop.  As you travel along
be sure and leave a comment on each
blog because each design team
member is giving away your choice
of one of the new release stamps
unmounted.

There were so many adorable stamps
this time but I had my faves....

First up who could resist celebrating
along with Sophie on her engagement?

Introducing Engagement Sophie!

Again I used crepe paper pleating and some
Teresa Collins Blingage and paper.

Then how about Rock Star Riley?  Love love
love this stamp! Perfect for masculine cards
or girlie cards....

This one uses an oldie but goodie DCWV stack called
Rock Star.  I knew I was saving it for something!
The paper is embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder
and has a couple of Spellbinder Nesties cutouts for accents.
I love the new You Rock stamp!
I stamped it on an embossed tag from the Cuttlebug
Emboss and Cut set called Embossed Tags.
A bit of Vintage Photo distress ink was added as accent.

Yes another new stamp!  You are a Rock Star!

Paper and ribbon from the DCWV Rock Star collection.

I hope you enjoyed the hop!  Be sure and add comments
as you go so you may have a chance to win one of these
great stamps!

Sneek Peek 2 and a Challenge

Sorry for the delay!  Seems like I have been moving
in slow motion since my trip to Dallas this last weekend!
Hello to anyone who was at the Cricut Stampede!

We have a challenge from Frances.  It is a great sketch!

Please join us in this challenge.  You may post your
creation at Splitcoast Stampers and please use the
keyword Riley0611.

Ready for a sneek peek on my card?
This stamp is just too sweet....
New Parents Riley and Sophie.

Paper is by K & Company.  I also have a new love.  Crepe paper!
I picked this technique up from a Teresa Collins class this
weekend. (More on that later.)
Just use double sided tape (red line) and
pleat the crepe paper on to it.  I just folded up the crepe paper
and cut lengthwise down the bundle to make a narrower strip.
Fun fun look!

Thanks for stopping by!

Be Mine Valentine!

It's challenge time for Riley and Company!
Laurie has challenged us to add a heart to our cards.
Join us in this challenge and post a link here or
at Splitcoast Stampers with the keyword
Riley 0211.

Well... how about cards that are hearts?  LOL!
I saw these cute simple diecut cards by Studio G
and could not resist.

So here are a couple of quick Valentines that
are oh so simple to make.  The card design is already
cut out for you!

Of course they had to star my current
favorite Riley - Heart Riley and I just love this new
saying in the larger font - Be Mine.

I dressed up the cards with some embossing, a few
extra diecut hearts and a couple of bows.

You can find the card packs at Michaels or JoAnns for
only $1.

Thanks for stopping by!

I am presenting a great favorite of mine.  Ahh the Irish in me

from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More on the Cricut.
Flowers by Creative Charms.

Then it was love at first sight when I saw Heart Riley

The cut out backgrounds on the first two cards are
from the Paper Lace Cricut Cartridge.
The rose paper is from K& Company and
the last two cards use paper by DCWV.

Did you notice the new sayings?  Aren't they great?

Last but not least I just had to try a pennant with
Pennant shapes are cut from the
Birthday Bash Cartridge on the Cricut machine.
